Today I was learning how to make my digital life slide
I enjoyed choosing the photos to put on my slide
I found it challenging to watch the video and tike the colorful circles
My digital learning object shows what I do in my digital life and show that I can create my own images
Next time I would change the amount of screenshots I take to put on here

Veggies have feelings stop carrot cruelty!!!

In writing we were trying to build our confidence for our Speeches so Miss Bennett gave us topics and we had to choose a group of three or two I went with My friends Mya and Neve. Our topic was veggie cruelty and when we were finished we had to read it in front of the class to practice for speeches.

24 Hour Footprint Digital Map

Today I learnt how to get onto my history and how to duplicate. We made a drawing about what we have been on in the last 24 hours. We had to search the web for some of the logos and then duplicate the footprints to lead to each logo. I enjoyed doing this task because we could see what we have been on and I learnt how to duplicate easier by ctrl+D.

Meditation

In writing we were doing brainstorms of what meditation is all about and then we had to make a piece of writing about it using some of our ideas.

Kia ora! My name is Zoe. I live in Gisborne, New Zealand. I go to Gisborne Intermediate and I am in year 7. I am part Scottish. I live in two houses. One with Mum and my brother. And one with my Dad, my stepmum, my sister and my brother. I have two cats at Mum’s and one at Dad’s.

I love coming to school to learn and see my friends. I am good at writing and PE and I am getting better at reading. I really enjoy doing PE and writing. My challenges are maths because I struggle on them a bit but I am getting better every time we do it.

I am really looking forward to action week this year because I was lucky enough to be chosen to go explore the real Fiji. I really want to get better at dancing, hockey and surfing. To do that I will prove to myself that I can.

Ella Williams inspires me because she is a New Zealand surfer and has won the World Junior Surf Champs in 2013.

Smart Surfing

Today I worked on Smart Surfing.

I learnt that it is easier and faster to use voice search.

I found it hard to understand some of the words that we had to say into the voice search.

I found it easy to find what I was looking for.

Next time I need to learn how to say the words better and get faster at it
